Flyer II - a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 35, is new to the fleet in 2010 and she is in exceptional condition having never been chartered before.
The Sun Odyssey 35 is a popular mid-sized cruiser, with a particularly spacious and bright interior. This yacht is an 'owners' version with a very large aft double berth, plus another double in the fore cabin, and the saloon can be configured with two singles or a double berth. Easily handled by a couple and room for up to 4 in comfort without using the saloon.
The Sun Odyssey 35 was designed for Jeanneau by Marc Lombard, and was first introduced in 2003. She has a high-volume light-displacement hull, matched to a deep narrow keel with a large trailing ballast bulb and deep spade rudder (This yacht is the deeper-keel version). The result is - she sails really well and 'punches well above her weight' against other yachts.
She has a fairly large masthead rig with twin
spreaders and a baby stay. The traveler and mainsheet are handled on
