On the 18th Sept 2010 an order was placed for a brand new Beneteau Oceanis 46 to join the fleet for 2011. Since she arrived and completed her updates for commercial use she has been chartered every week throughout the 2011 season and many people have already re-booked her for 2012. She really is a stunning vessel and very easy to sail despite her size.

She has a combination of roller reefing Genoa and single line mainsail reefing with lazyjacks ensuring efficient and easy sail handling.
As well as a large , comfortable and practical cockpit she has an uncluttered layout with high quality teak finishes in the cockpit. The twin wheels allow a choice of comfortable helming postions and easy viewing when berthing.
As soon as you step below you cannot fail to be impressed by the light airy atmosphere and the warm feeling provided by the expanses of mahogany.
The accommodation provides comfortable berths for 8 people without using the saloon. The saloon seating converts easily to create a very comfortable double berth if required giving total accommodation for 10 persons.
Other features are a well laid out and practical galley with a huge fridge, 2 heads with full size showers and warm air heating provided throughout the yacht.
The twin chart plotters and state of the art navigation systems make this a very easy boat to sail - uncomplicated yet rewarding.
The photos below are of a similar boat - Raphy G is currently upholstered in off white linen which has proven to be a less than perfect choice for a hard working charter boat! Over the winter of 2011/12 she is being reupholstered throughout in a luxurious deep blue fabric which combined with the mahogany will generate a feeling of warmth and cosiness below decks.
