Our Prices

Our aim is to be as transparent and up-front about our prices as possible. Below you will find a table showing our prices in UK Pounds for all our yachts at all times of year.

The prices given are for bareboat charter and are for a week. Private bookings of 2 or more boats or 2 or more weeks attract a 5% discount. Part week charters are charged at one fifth of the weekly rate per day – minimum of 3 days and usually only available in low and mid season.

All prices include VAT at the current rate. Diesel and gas are charged as used.

All prices inc. use of the outboard and dinghy.

We ONLY deal in UK Pounds – we cannot invoice in or accept any other currency.

All our yachts are available for bareboat charter although we can also provide a Skipper for the less experienced crews.

We do not charter between November and March – all the yachts are out of the water for comprehensive maintenance and updating.

Security Deposits

The way we usually deal with security deposits is to take a note of the Skipper’s credit card details – we do not make any charge to the card but we do pre-authorise the amount of the security deposit. We ask if it is acceptable to charge the diesel and gas used to that card when the yacht is returned and provided there are no losses or damages then after the consumables have been charged we destroy the card details. We are fully compliant with all the laws regarding storage and use of credit card details.

We believe that it is right that the Skipper has a financial stake in the safety and welfare of the yacht and crew. For this reason the security deposit is in place and this is a risk that you cannot insure against. The figures may sound high but in reality the security deposit wouldn’t even cover the cost of replacing an anchor and chain.

The stated security deposit is your maximum liability ie you would not be charged any more than that even if the yacht was a total loss. Any damages of a value greater than the security deposit would be referred to our insurers – the security deposit is of the same value as our insurance policy excess.

Booking Deposits

Private bookings – If you book before December this year for next year we ask for just a £100 per week deposit – we will invoice you for the remaining £900 per week in December.

If you book after New Year we ask for a £1000 per week deposit at the time of booking and invoice you for the balance about 8 weeks before you sail.

Agency bookings – we require 50% deposit at the time of booking. The booking is not confirmed until we have received all 3 pages of the Charter Agreement satisfactorily completed and the above deposit has been received.
